Batesburg, Jan 20 1940
Within the next few weeks Batesburg will have an up-to-date 18-room hospital, owned and operated by Mrs. Barrett Jones, who managed the Leesville Infirmary for a number of years. This institution, which has served the community for the last 20 years, will close.
Mrs. Jones is a capable hospital superintendent and nurse and Batesburg is proud to have her as operator and owner of Jones Hospital, by which name it will be known.
